The Maison spent four years developing the Chopard Lucent Steel A223 that's used for the case and bracelet, it's inspired by the strength of the mountains and is, fittingly, brighter and 50% harder than other variations. The galvanised dial, meanwhile, is modelled on the bird of prey's iris, the second hand fluted like a feather and the crown engraved with a compass rose.
