A mysterious and evocative fragrance that tells the story of Ubar, a lost city at the south-east of the Arabian Peninsula, where converged the ancient incense trade routes linking the East to the Mediterranean regions. For centuries, Ubar was said to be a land destroyed by Allah for having venerated false gods. Yet, the city collapsed because it had been built on a dome of limestone. It was found in 1992, after being buried in the sands for almost 1500 years. At the heart of Moresque's Ubar 1992 composition, the most noble incense speaks of history and legend, while the leather note evokes the odour of the caravans' tanned leather. The leather note in Ubar 1992 recalls Emiro's one, the bestseller of the Black Collection.
